The Power Sports Horses Stud is set in beautiful countryside on the Powys / Shropshire borderlands.

The Stud was established after the property was purchased in 2001, and much renovation/alteration work carried out.

Our first stallion, Song Song Blue, was purchased in late 2004. He was sent to Marcus Reid in Hampshire to produce and grade with the Sports Horse Breeding Great Britain. Ulysses joined us in 2005 & was graded with the Anglo European Stud Book.

Ben McClumpha joined us in April 2010 and now not only competes the horses but oversees the producing of our youngstock.

Our first major crop was born in 2006 and our breeding programme continues using the best of European bloodlines, We also have a number of very smart Thoroughbred mares to add the necessary "blood" into he breeding.
